Dry embossed card

This card was easy to put together. Few tools are needed yet it is an elegant card. Trim the 4.25x5.50 inch beige card with decorative scissors. Next layer a piece of lavender paper or card stock. Top this with a decorative paper. I believe this one is a Brenda Walton design by K and Company. Attach this to the front of the card. Dry emboss a small oval using a brass stencil and a stylus. I used an Anna Griffin design by Plaid. Back this piece with a larger oval that has been trimmed with decorative scissors. Attach to the front of the card with a pop dot or a Stampin' Up! stamping dimensional. Stamp the sentiment onto beige card stock and back with dark lavender card stock. Attach a narrow organdy ribbon and hang over the embossed image. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the sentiment and attach to the card. The sentiment stamp is by Anna Griffin and I think it is distributed through All Night Media.
