Gardening Therapy Sign

Here is another sign that I designed and cut from my husband's Carvewright machine. It's a birthday gift for my college friend. I found the clipart on the internet and added it to both ends of the sign. The over all dimensions measure 11 inches x 21 inches and is painted to withstand the exterior weather. I used an exterior primer on the wood and base coated it in a dark shade. I then applied this creamy base coat and used a glossy black for the lettering and the framed edges. The tools and wheelbarrow were base coated and then dry brushed to give a bit of depth. I distressed the piece with sand paper and then applied a clear coat. I'm pleased with the way this piece turned out with the color combinations and the over all vintage feel.

Days 7,8 and 9

The Twelve Days of Christmas swap at SCS days seven brought this lovely Inkadinkado stamp.

Day eight revealed these two boxes of Glue Dots. I use plenty of these when I papercraft and they will be welcomed with open arms into the craft room.

Day nine is this pack of Spellbinders Grommet Tags. Can't wait to try these out. They will be a great addition on the front of cards for sentiments. Thank you SS. You Rock!

Catching Up On the Twelve Days of Christmas

These are the last six packages of the Twelve Days of Christmas Swap at Splitcoaststampers. I have photos of days three, four, five and six. There is no photo of day two because I ate the bag of Snickers bite size pieces. Yum!
This ribbon was labeled day three but I wonder if the numbers may have gotten mixed up. Day four had three items and day five had five items. I'm not sure but I do know I will use plenty of ribbon.

These laces are great! I use lace on nearly every scrap book that I create and on cards too. They will go into the stash and be used soon.

Day five turned out to be the day of bling instead of five golden rings. I think my SS has figured out that I use lots and lots of bling. I know Tammy (my PA scrapping friend) will be thrilled to get things made with the purple bling. She likes purple and bright shiny objects!

Day six was this lacy scarf and I think it will go with some of my lace cuffs. Thanks SS this is a fun exchange. I can't wait to see what days seven through twelve will be.
I'm off to wrap some packages! Have a great day!
