Look Back at Our Daily Bread July Release

Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs July Release and here are the projects I created. This first piece measures 8 x 10 inches and may be inserted into a frame with the glass removed, a shadow box or used as a scrapbook page. We often have a family reunion in July and that got me to thinking about making a project which could showcase a photo. The bunting was made by using stamps from the Patriotic Pennants stamp set and I love the way it turned out! Here are the  products I used:
Stamps- ODBD Patriotic Pennants, ODBD Pennant Alphabet
Dies- ODBD Beautiful Borders, ODBD Ornate Borders and Flowers, ODBD Pennants

This fun birthday card was made using the Double Display card base from ODBD. They come as a pack of six with three ivory and three white cards per box. If you like this card base, check out the additional card packs that are available too! There are all sorts of shapes available! when I was a kid, I had a purple bike and this reminds me of that bike.  I added some pink on the bike to brighten the scene a bit. Besides, what gal can resist pink and purple?  I love, love, love the banner over the bike. It just screams summer!

Blushing Rose Pocket Card

I like the way this sweet little card turned out! It's a vintage, girly, romantic card all in one! I used some of the new Our Daily Bread Designs products and I'm just lovin' them! The Blushing Rose Collection of paper is so yummy and if I had the time, I would make a mini album out of it!! For now, that's a project for the back burner. I started with kraft paper as the base and then added the paper and a border from the ODBD Beautiful Borders Die. I made a banner with the ODBD Pennant Swag Alphabet stamp set and  attached it to green and white bakers twine. I then added pearls. I cut out the roses from the paper stack and popped them up with dimensional foam. I cut leaves using the paper stack and the ODBD Fancy Foliage Dies.
For the pull out, I made a tab using the ODBD Bautiful Borders dies and layered the blushing Rose paper by using the ODBD Vintage Labels die along with the ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies. What a sweet little card! Thanks for stopping by!

ODBD Vintage Red, White and Blue

Today I have a red, white and blue card that is reminiscent of  the Victorian era. It would make a wonderful invitation for a party or even a family reunion! It is made entirely from Our Daily Bread Designs stamps and Dies and it's so easy to make! Since it's red, white and blue, I'll be linking it to the ODBD blog for the Shining Light Challenge 209.
I started with a red card base and then made a blue mat for the Vintage Flourish Pattern Die. I cut the die using glossy white paper and then made a  red center mat with the Vintage Labels Die. I assembled the ribbon by stamping with the Pennants stamp set and popping the Fourth of July sentiment off the page with dimensional dots. Next came the layers using the Vintage Labels Die and Antique Labels and Border Die. I added a red edge with a marker and the white line with a gel pen. For the banner, I used dimensional dots to attach it to the card. Next came a bit of red twine to help hide the dimensional dots across the top of the banner and two small bows at each end finishes it off.
Here are the items from ODBD that I used on this card:

Get Well Daisy Easel Card

Hello crafty friends! I hope everyone had a fun and blessed Fourth of July weekend and maybe some of you were able to spend a little time in your craft rooms! I have been working away using some of the July release from Our Daily Bread Designs. This five by five inch card uses the new Pennant Alphabet stamp set and matching Pennants Die set.
As you can see from this photo, the rest of the sentiment is on the inside of the easel card and keeps the card propped up! I took the daisy paper from the blooming garden collection, Fancy Foliage Dies along with the Asters and Leaves Dies to complete the project. I added a bit of small bling between the letters on the pennants and called it a day!

Cherry Blossom Thank You

I needed a few thank you cards to send out after my Mother-in-law's Memorial Service. I decided to make use of the July release at Our Daily Bread Designs and for good measure, I incorporated sketch challenge 495 at Splitcoaststampers. I think these are simple in design yet still very appealing to the eye. It really hard to go wrong when working with the new Blushing Rose Collection of paper from ODBD. Isn't it just yummy? I also wanted to point out the bow on the left side. I made that with the new Patriotic Pennants stamp set. It's amazing how versatile these new pennant sets can be!
I hope you have enjoyed the first peek of my use of the ODBD July release. Tune in tomorrow for another project made with the July release!
