Aren't these new shabby rose papers the best? They are so pretty!!!!! I didn't want to do much to cover them up because they are just so pretty!  I chose to use the new Blessed Easter Stamp set because it is near and dear to my heart.  The sentiment in this stamp set brought me through some long term health issues!!!! When I first saw the March release, I knew that this stamp set had my name written all over it!  I cut the paper into3/8 inch strips and sponged the edges to weave the basket. I then turned my attention to the eggs. Psst.... let me tell you a little secret!
I actually cut some of my eggs from the front cover of the paper pad to get these precious little designs on my eggs. I also stamped out some eggs on the paper using the small egg stamp from the Blessed Easter Set! Yes, it was frugal but I couldn't resist those tiny patterns for these little eggs! I used several of the small prints from the paper collection to cut eggs in addition to my frugality of the front cover.
The crocheted border stamp was just the ticket to go with these soft papers. I used Lake Mist ink to stamp onto white paper. I placed the borders back to back with a little gap and added the ribbon. This was a nice look but it needed more. I pulled out my small strips of pearls and added them down the center.
I saved the second half of the sentiment for the inside of the card and cut it out with the ODBD Elegant Ovals Dies adding a bit of sponged ink along the edge! I used the crocheted lace border again with some scraps from the Shabby Rose Paper on top of a solid pink which I die cut using a border die.
That's about it! By the way, I did use dimensional tape between the basket and the layers of eggs. I like all of the dimension and depth of the eggs stacked up!!! If you have questions, feel free to ask!

Please go visit my sister breadsticks on their blogs and leave them a little love!!!
