ODBDSLC246 With Sympathy

Hey crafty friends! It's time for the July sketch challenge at Our Daily Bread Design and I hope that you will come along and play with us! I'm sad to say that I have been having some technical challenges with one of the web sites at Our Daily Bread Designs over the last few weeks. That means that  I don't have all of the challenge and design team info for you here yet. Hopefully I will have that info for you by this afternoon.  For now, you can get to the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog by clicking the hot link above. Get the low down on the challenge and visit the design team members too! Be sure and check out their blogs since they always have other great tidbits of information for you!!!
My card measures 4 1/2 x 6 inches and it's very shiny in real life! I had to tone down the picture to keep the glare down and it looks very gray and white here. It's actually silver and white with a little gray mixed in! This beautiful sympathy stamp set was perfect to use with silver embossing powder and then I added a sheer silver bow, with just a touch of bling, to finish things off. Most of you will be able to figure out the layers on this one easily so I won't bore you with details. Just check out the materials list below.  Sould have any questions, feel free to ask! If you need an elegant and easy sympathy card, this is just the ticket!!!

As promised, here are the design team links and the challenge info!!!

To see all the projects created for ODBDSLC246 or to join the challenge click here (link to the ODBDSLC246). You have until July 19, 2015 at 8:00pm EDT to join us. By participating in the challenge, you have a chance to win a  $15 ODBD Gift Certificate good towards the purchase of stamps in the “stamps column” on the ODBD website, or to be spotlighted on the ODBD Blog at our next challenge. The random prize winner will be posted on our next challenge post. Please do not post on Flicker as many of us do not have the ability to comment on your cards nor can we spotlight your cards on the blog.

It is funny what cameras will do with some papers...like a mirror reflecting light back but this is beautiful anyway! I love the dreamy look and that ribbon is gorgeous! I bet the silver embossing is striking IRL. Lovely card and wonderful for someone to receive when suffering loss. To be treasured!
