I chose to use the beautiful Christmas papers from last year as my inspiration and color pallet. I used some pretty textured pearlized card stock, heat embossing and some sponging to make this simple card.
Now head on over to see what the other fabulous designers have made for you today and have a blessed Thanksgiving!  I hope each of you are able to spend time with family!

I used the white from the fireplace wall, the angels and the nativity set as my inspiration for my card.
Don't you just love this new stamp called The Mighty God? I think it is beautiful and pairs nicely with the new Lovely Leaves die set.
I began with a white card base and added a silver layer. To this I added a white layer which I embossed with the angel embossing folder and then added white glitter using a glue pen. Once dry, I used a craft knife to cut slots along the edge of the angel and inserted The Mighty God stamped image which I embossed with silver embossing powder. A few leaves and poinsettias added as a finishing touch to this simple yet elegant card.
Now it's time to go visit the other breadsticks and see what they have made for you today!!!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!!!!

ODBDSLC262 Dolphin Window

It has a been a very busy few months for me! There have been lots of preserving of food from the garden and many outdoor jobs getting finished up before cold weather hits! I just finished up preserving three bushels of apples. From that, I was able to can seventy one jars of apple products. I canned apple syrup, apple butter, apple pie preserves, apple pie filling and cinnamon apples. I also dried some of the apples for making fried apple pies and cinnamon apple oatmeal! Needless to say, I am tired of looking at apples but I'll sure be glad I have them come the dark days of winter.
Amidst all of the work, we snuck in a few days of camping too! You can read about that here.
Now let's get on to the task at hand, it's card sketch challenge day at ODBD.
Today I have a rustic masculine card for you! Nothing too fancy or difficult so I won't bore you with the details. If you should have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm always happy to help you out!

I have made my first Christmas ornament of the season using some of the new November dies!  Just click on the links in the materials list for more information.
SMALL BOW DIESMEDIUM BOW DIESLOVELY LEAVES DIES
I have used the small and medium bow die at the top of the ornament and then I colored the back of the bows with Copic R29. Next, I added gold glitter glue around the edges. I stamped the poinsettia three times using embossing powder and colored using Copic markers. I cut out three different sizes and stacked the layers on top of a circle die cut after I added the greens.
I used the banner dies to create the bottom of the ornament and added some embellishments. I added glittler glue to the edge of the wood ornament base which I painted gold and then added four pieces of bling around the edge.  The finished ornament is 6 3/4 inches tall from bow to bead and 4 inches wide.

Check out what my sister breadsticks have in store for you!

I can't wait to see what you make and share with us!!!!
